After first project weeks in 2013, 2014 and 2015 the young socioMovens network invited the alumni to a first international youth meeting to the German capital – Berlin!
About 150 young people from Croatia, Germany, Hungary, Latvia, Poland, Romania and Slovakia met, got to know social callenges of the German capital and prepared a arts performance together with the international group „Gen Rosso“.
2018 saw the European movement of socioMovens meet up in Hungary. Check out the video for some impression from our „Compact for Europe!“
The international meeting in cooperation with the arts performing group „Gen Verde“ inspired the participants to advocate for a social Europe connecting the diverse local realities of volunteering.
Following the motto „United with Ukraine“ the socioMovens network met up in Kraków, Poland in summer 2022.
A representative of our Ukrainian team shared her experiences from the Russian full scale invasion. Therefore the performance developed in cooperation with the international arts performing group Gen Verde was rightfully entitled „We Choose Peace“.
The international event also marked the moment of the festive establishment of the foundation socioMovens.
